1/30/2010 - On 2/10/2007 California State University San Marcos fielded their first season of softball. It was played on a local high school field, because CSUSM didn't have a softball field of their own. Also, unfortunately, they lost that inaugural game 1-2 against Vanguard. Today was an opportunity for a new beginning. A new season and a new field conspired against Redlands, who lost CSUSM's 2010 home opener 6-1. This gallery chronicles some of the game's highlights, as well as various spectators who attended. I've attempted to get photos of all the CSUSM players, and I apologize to those I missed. See the CSUSM site for play-by-play and box scores.
